Todd Valley Softball League Held their Organizational meeting on Feb 10. 2010.

The meeting was called to order by President Buckley. The minutes of the August 11, 2009 meeting were read. M/S/C.

Treasurer’s report $5,143.38 M/S/C  No outstanding bills to be paid.

Roni Wobken our District Rep. talked about District/State Rosters due June 4^th. Plus 2 separate checks – one for $175 for Districts and $225 for State.

There will be 4 ASA umpire clinics held this year. Check the website www.nebraskasoftball.org for dates and times. Also check the website for tournaments. She also explained ASA Individual Registration. $16 per player this year. Due May 15^th.

If not going to Championship play may elect to be covered by ASA $22.00/team.

Officers will remain the same as this year. M/S/C

Compensation is as follows: President $500, Vice President $200, Secretary/Treasurer $500, and League Coordinator $500 M/S/C

Entry fees are League $125; Tourney $50  and coach pitch $75. M/S/C

We will drop the trophies for tournaments. M/S/C

Rule Changes:

Change Divisions to Competitive and Recreational

10 Rec- Home will be closed and NO drop third strike

12 Rec- Eliminate Drop third strike and stealing home

10 Comp- Only ONE umpire is required; BUT for League Tournament Must have 2 umpires

Continuous Batting is allowed in all age groups in league and tourney play

Change run rules to match ASA 15 after 3, 12 after 4, 8 after 5

League tourney dates must be the first 2 weekends in June

Pitching distance 43 feet for HS 

Reminder Rule changes from last year:

League Roster due APRIL 15th

Deadline for adding players is MAY 15^th

Teams not available to participate on the rain date of the league tournament will forfeit

League tournament games will be limited to those team members who are on the league roster as of May 15^th

League tournament umpires must be paid following each day of work

Admission fee for league tournament: Friday$2.00 adult; $1.00 student;

Sat/Sun. $3.00&$2.00 Town keeps gate and concessions.

Set Tournament umpire fee$30.00/game M/S/C

Breakout/scheduling meeting March 24^th at DC West High School.  We need to know if you will participate in tournament.
