The Todd Valley Softball League end of year meeting was held August 8, 2007 atD. C. West High School. Towns represented were D.C. West, Fremont, Elkhorn, Wahoo, Gretna, Yutan and Ashland. Towns NOT represented were Blair, Bennington, and Ft. Calhoun.

New bills submitted: Anderson Awards $418.16, Website Fee $22.50, 2007 Officers wages $700.
New business: 12 under time limit changed to 75 minutes according to ASA rules
10 under competitive only needs one certified ump
Scheduling of games on designated days removed form rules

League tournament: TVSL board of officers will set dates for league tourney; if town can’t hold tournament it goes to next team in line. M/S/C
Teams not attending league tourney need to let tourney director and TVSL league board know 2 weeks in advance. If this is not done, they will be taken out of rotation to hold tourney and will forfeit tourney fee. M/S/C
Tournament director needs to contact teams a month in advance. M/S/C
Each team needs to provide 2 new game balls for league tourney. M/S/C
A player can only be listed on one league tourney roster. M/S/C
During the season if you are short a player, you can pick up a player from another team, but they can’t pitch.
Informational items: We are trying to enlarge league. Ask around for towns to join our league.
Town reps and coaches need to have better communication. Coaches need to be notified by town rep of rules, dates of meetings, tournaments, league fees etc.
Coaches need to report scores within 48 Hours!! Rosters need to be sent in by the deadline!! Town reps need to contact their coaches to make sure this is being done!!
Coaches and town reps need to send TVSL officers their email and phone numbers. We’ve gotten email addresses that were not complete or illegible. We don’t have everybody’s phone number. We need this information so we can contact you!!
Officer roles were discussed. End of season awards were given out.
